Thesis 'The power of colour' When choosing a subject for my thesis, the word colour kept popping up since it's one of my main interests. At First I hesitated to research colour because it's easy to get lost in such a broad subject. By narrowing it down a lot I came to the following research question: What is the relationship between humans and colour and how do contemporary designers use this?
I discovered that the meaning of colour for people depends on a lot of factors so the designers I investigated all paid a lot of attention to using colour, but none of them used colour to directly convey a message. My knowledge about colour has definitely expanded after doing this reseach. I con-tinued visually with my project 'Do Colour'. You can view this project in my portfolio.
